Casual Vacancy

Jayne Greenacre has resigned as parish councillor, due to work pressures. The councillors thank Jayne for her time on the council.

There is a casual vacancy for a new councillor.

If an election for this vacancy is not demanded, then the councillors will seek to co-opt a new councillor, probably at the September meeting (no meeting is planned for August)

If you are interested in being considered for this voluntary post, please get in touch with the parish clerk, Pauline James

Survey on Art Trail

Norfolk Council Council’s EXPERIENCE Project is creating a new free Art Trail across Norfolk and will be commissioning artists to create one placemaking outdoor art installation within each district across Norfolk.

The project has put together a NEW survey to gather feedback from local residents to support the development of artist briefs for the art trail. There are two versions of the survey – one version aimed at adults and the other at young people. We would be grateful if you could please share these links with your local networks (whichever is more appropriate); we’ve prepared below some introductory text for each.

We are particularly interested to hear from underrepresented groups and communities within Norfolk – please would you help us by sharing the link far and wide? Thank you.

Adult Survey Text

Norfolk Council Council’s EXPERIENCE Project is working with artists to commission a series of new public art works – one for each district of Norfolk – that will be linked by a 250-mile walking/cycling trail for you to come and visit.

We’d love to hear from the People of Norfolk – tell us your ideas, opinions and thoughts on what you’d like this to look/be like!

Please click the link below to participate in the survey – to say thank you there is also a chance to win a £75 Jarrold voucher for those who complete the survey. We look forward to hearing from you!
