Parish councillor vacancy

David Burnett has resigned as parish councillor. The councillors send their thanks to David for his contribution to the council and wish him well.

The  councillors will look to co-opt a new councillor at the meeting on 28th October if no election is requested for this one vacancy.

This vacancy is in addition to the existing vacancy arising from the elections in May. The councillors hope to co-opt a new councillor for this first vacancy at the meeting on 30th September.

Parish councillors are unpaid but training is available. A parish council is a corporate entity and all decisions are made in council meetings. If you are interested in finding out more, please look at the recent parish council minutes and get in touch with the parish clerk, Pauline James, at [email protected], or speak to one of the current councillors.
